Osceola Turkey Hunts

This hunt is a slam dunk. I have had 70 hunters on this hunt and everyone except 2 has killed and those two didn’t hunt. 95% of hunters take their bird on the first day of the hunt. The hunt takes place in Osceola County, Florida which has the highest concentration of Osceola Wild Turkeys in the state. These birds are pretty aggressive and will respond to a gobbler decoy with a full fan. They just can’t stand it and in most cases come in to kill the decoy. The Osceola is generally a smaller bird with most birds weighing in at 18 pounds but they make up for it in spur length. A 2 year old could have 1 ¼ inch spurs and older birds are 1 ½ inches and bigger. We have taken spurs up to 1 14/16 inches and weights up to 21 pounds. This is a semi guided hunt but fully guided hunts are also available. The ranch is a working cattle operation with big open pastures and Palmetto islands everywhere which makes great set up sites. Hunt costs include 4000 acres of private land to hunt and one bird. No additional birds are available.

Hunt Cost: $1,650.00 and includes one bird. Hunt cost does not include transportation, license fees or room and board even though lunch is provided at the ranch each day. Most hunters stay at the Budget Inn of St. Cloud at a $80.00 per night room rate (double occupancy).
